COPD

If you suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) you might qualify to participate in one of our research studies, or if you fit into one of the below categories:

· Diagnosed for 1 year

· Aged 18-85

· On regular inhaler therapy

· Have required antibiotics and/or steroid treatment within the last year

· Have been hospitalised due to COPD in the last year

· Do not have Asthma

· Former or current smoker

· Willing to have a chest Xray.

· Other inclusion/exclusion criteria may need to be met

The New Zealand Respiratory and Sleep Institute (NZRSI) is looking for volunteers to take part in a research study exploring a potential new treatment for moderate to severe COPD.
