Welcome to our Research Unit!
 

Clinical research is a branch of healthcare science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, and treatment regimens. All medications and therapies that are in use in New Zealand have been rigorously tested through clinical research before coming to the market. Here at NZRSI we work with the DHBs, Biotech industry and the pharmaceutical industry to bring cutting-edge disease modifying and life-saving treatments to participants. This results in better treatment options for many patients in New Zealand.

Our unit has over 30 years’ experience working in clinical trials. We are located in Auckland at Ascot Office park in Greenlane, but we take participants from throughout New Zealand. We specialise particularly in trials in Respiratory Medicine and Sleep Medicine. We are a friendly unit with attention to detail, particularly to the care and safety of all our participants.
